Just look back at my many blog posts about hurricanes and I can’t deny it. I’ve never been in an earth quake although I married in California and my mother fell so much in love with it that she bought property on the San Andreas fault and I kept having nightmares the earth would open up and swallow her (never happened).

I don’t recall that Katrina did much to South Florida. It was Wilma that was a cat 3 that took out our power for a week and wreaked havoc.

First measurable in some time. I think it was a 5.4 or something like that, epicenter just outside Chino. You’d have thought there was nothing else going on the way these news stations were all over it. It wasn’t like a jolt, just a slow rolling “oh crap…”, know what I mean?
